We live in a go-go-go world. Hustle is glorified, and burnout is often worn like a badge of honor. But God never designed us to run on empty. He actually commands us to rest—not just physically, but spiritually and emotionally too.
Matthew 11:28 says:
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
That’s not just a suggestion—it’s a promise.
God knows you're tired.
Tired of always being strong.
Tired of worrying.
Tired of trying to do everything and be everything for everyone.
But here’s the good news: You don’t have to carry it all.
You were never meant to.
Rest isn't laziness—it's obedience. It’s trusting that while you rest, God is still working.
It’s in the quiet moments, when you lay it all down, that you feel His presence the most.
And in those moments, He reminds you:
“You don’t have to earn My love.
You don’t have to prove anything.
Just come as you are—and rest.”
Wearing faith-based pieces like a cozy hoodie, soft tee, or cap that reminds you (and others) to rest is more than style—it’s a gentle nudge back to what really matters.
It says, “I don’t need to keep pushing to find peace. I already have it in Him.”
Exodus 33:14 says:
“My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”
So, whether you're in a busy season, a heavy one, or just somewhere in between—take the break. Breathe. Lay it down.
You are not falling behind by resting.
You're actually getting stronger—because you're resting in Him.
Rest isn’t quitting—it’s trusting.
So go ahead, pause. He’s got you. 🕊️💤
